Previous Red Bull chief Christian Horner is allegedly "contacting nearly every team principal" as he pursues a return to F1, according to Aston Martin F1 top executive Andy Cowell.
The Silverstone-based squad is among the squads that are associated with Horner.
Cowell mentioned he had verified the situation with squad proprietor Lawrence Stroll this past Friday at the Singapore GP.
"It appears that Christian is getting in touch with most team bosses at the moment," stated the executive.
"I can clearly say there are no arrangements for the engagement of Christian in an leadership or investment capacity in the future."
Other Teams Comment
Haas chief Ayao Komatsu revealed that the ex-chief had "approached" the US-based team but continued: "Nothing has gone any further. The matter is closed."
The Renault-owned team executive director Steve Nielsen stated the squad's senior consultant and acting leader Flavio Briatore was "old friends" with the former principal.
Nielsen commented: "I'm unaware what they discuss. What I understand is there are no intentions for Christian to join Alpine but this doesn't imply it won't happen."
The Grove-based squad team principal James Vowles confirmed that Horner had not approached them.
"We're very happy with the structure we have and it's functioning," Vowles said. "There's no cause to modify it."
Background Context
The former team principal is able to come back Formula 1 by the mid-next season after completing a separation agreement with the energy drink company on the 22nd of September.
The veteran motorsport figure was dismissed as Red Bull team principal after the British Grand Prix in summer.
Several informants at the organization have revealed the settlement package was estimated at 60 million euros (52 million pounds).
